Caprese Salad

Ingredients
- 4 large fresh tomatoes
- 1 log of fresh mozzarella
- About 10 large, fresh basil leaves
Instructions
- Cut the tomatoes into generous slices (about ¼ to ½ inch thick)
- Cut the Mozzarella into slices that are the same thickness as the tomato slices
- Take the basil leaves and stack them on top of each other and roll them into a cigar. Cut the basil into small, thin slices (so it looks like confetti when you’re done)
- Place three tomato slices on a plate and top the tomatoes with a slice of mozzarella. Sprinkle with the shredded, fresh basil. Drizzle with olive oil, balsamic vinegar or a combination of both.
